Who am I?
I like to think I am an ordinary Midwest gal but fitting in has never been high on my list. Not odd but not usual either. I think deeply and love deeply but outside that there are walls I've spent years of therapy trying to break down to love those around me better. Writing unveils a little piece of that, which I hope you can both relate to and find your own healing in.

I am passionate about being a good neighbor, supportive wife, and ever-learning mom and business owner navigating life after law on our new-to-us homestead in the Midwest. I love the idea of a slower life but have yet to master it with active involvement in local networking, coaching volleyball, and connection to our church.

A few things you'll likely find here: references to personality tests (enneagram and sacred pathways are two of my favorites), boundaries, faith in a endlessly loving Jesus amidst a messy world full of imperfect humans, motherhood after infertility, hosting and being a good neighbor, lessons from coaching, my dogs and future farm animals and perhaps a few homesteading experiments along the way.
